Sankedag is a grazing-season record book for sheep farmers and beitelag volunteers. It is built to work entirely offline, on the mountain, with no account and no server. This page explains exactly what the app does and does not do with your information.
Nothing is collected by the developer. Sankedag has no servers, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party software development kits. Nothing you enter into the app is ever transmitted anywhere.
Everything you enter — pasture areas, owners, ear marks and colours, tag numbers, weekly rounds, sightings, incident reports, photos, gathering-day counts and teams — is stored only in the app's local database on your own device, using Apple's SwiftData framework. It stays on your device and is removed automatically if you delete the app.

If you choose to attach a photo to a sighting or an incident, Sankedag asks for permission to use the camera or the photo picker at that moment, and only for that purpose. The photo is saved inside the app's own local database. Sankedag never uploads, shares, or otherwise moves a photo off your device on its own.
If you turn on reminders in Settings, Sankedag schedules local notifications on your device — for example, a reminder that a pasture area's weekly check is due, or a reminder the evening before a gathering day. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on your device; no notification content is sent to or through any server.
Some screens let you share something you created — a note to an owner, or a season record — using Apple's standard share sheet. This only happens when you tap Share, and only sends what you choose to the destination you choose (for example, Messages or Mail). Sankedag itself does not have access to where you share it, and does not receive anything back.
Sankedag is a farm-management utility aimed at adult farmers and beitelag volunteers. It does not knowingly collect any information from children, and in any case does not collect information from anyone, of any age, since nothing is ever transmitted off the device.
If this policy ever changes — for example if a future version of Sankedag adds a feature that changes what is stored — this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly.
